Training sessions on state aid rules held in 20 cities and municipalities
As part of the project “Support to Commission for State Aid Control”, from February to August, training events on state aid control rules have been held in 20 local self-government units. Training events were attended by more than 130 employees.
The first two-day conference was held in Subotica on 10-11 July; project experts presented modernized state aid rules, application procedures and rules relating to services of general economic interest. The conference was attended by representatives of the cities and municipalities of Subotica, Sombor, Bečej, Žitište, Čoka, Mali Iđoš, Srbobran, Bačka Topola, Nova Crnja and Odžaci.
In Belgrade, on 15 July, the second conference intended for employees in republic institutions and in the ministries of the Serbian Government, was held in Belgrade, in the premises of Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Experiences of Croatia during negotiations related to negotiating Chapter 8 (Competition Policy), state aid for infrastructure and assistance for services of general interest were presented at the conference.
Previously, project experts held basic training sessions in Zrenjanin and Žitište.
